Two More Popular Marvel Characters Have Cameos In 'Avengers: Age Of Ultron'
Avengers: Age of Ultron is going to be big. Very big. Even the first teaser trailer hints at things we weren't quite sure we'd see in a Marvel movie. Captain America's shield broken, Steve Rogers somehow in the past, Iron Man fighting The Hulk, Black Panther references, etc. And, of course, some of that stuff can be explained when you look at the Phase 3 plans. Others can't though and now a few more seemingly inexplicable, but awesome, news has been revealed.
Keeping it vague, a very popular actor who has previously appeared in the MCU did an interview and revealed that he (or she) has a role in Avengers: Age of Ultron and he (or she) is joined by another popular actor who has previously appeared in the MCU. If these Avengers Age of Ultron cameos are true, it's a spoiler, so be aware.
The news came from an interview in The Guardian (via Film Divider). Idris Elba was talking about a DJ set and said the following:
Ironically, yesterday I had to... I'm in Avengers. And I'm doing a scene with Chris Hemsworth and Tom Hiddleston, and they're like, "Aren't you in Ibiza?" That's why I was pissed about my set yesterday. I really just wasn't there. I was annoyed.
So it seems Heimdall is in a scene with Thor and Loki? Wow. Tom Hiddleston in Avengers: Age of Ultron is pretty significant, especially considering where we last left the character: thought to be dead, but actually posing as his father, Odin.
Now how does this fit into the movie? Well, I think it might tie into a few of those other unexplainable events such as Captain America's shield broke and Rogers back in time. There's also the rumor of a Hayley Atwell (Agent Carter) cameo. How is all that possible? Well, the Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) gives the Avengers' visions. Things that scare them or something like that (it gets referenced in the wood cutting clip that's floating around online). I'd imagine Elba and Hiddleston play a role in Thor's vision.
Or maybe, Loki teams up with Ultron for some massive destruction. But I sincerely doubt it.
Anyway, do you think these Avengers Age of Ultron cameos make sense?
