'Anchorman 2' Blu-Ray Will Feature Three Cuts Of The Film

Anchorman 2 hit theaters at the end of last year, and it will soon be back in cinemas in a completely different cut assembled from alternate takes. But that's not the end of the Anchorman 2 variant offerings: the Blu-ray release will feature three versions of the film. In addition to the original theatrical release and the second cut coming soon, the disc features an unrated version of the film. There will also be hours of bonus footage, including a reported 90 minutes of additional alternate takes. So that's nearly four versions of Anchorman 2, which means that at least one poor editor probably lost his mind trying to make sense of it all.

The Anchorman 2: The Legend Continues Blu-ray Disc™ 1 is presented in 1080p high definition with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio, French 5.1 Dolby Digital, Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital and English Audio Description and English, English SDH, French and Spanish subtitles. The Blu-ray Disc 2 is presented in 1080p high definition with English 5.1 DTS-HD Master Audio and English, English SDH, French and Spanish subtitles. The DVD in the combo pack is presented in widescreen enhanced for 16:9 TVs with English 5.1 Dolby Digital, French 5.1 Dolby Digital, Spanish 5.1 Dolby Digital and English Audio Description and English, French and Spanish subtitles. The combo pack includes access to a Digital copy of the film as well as the following:

    Anchorman 2 will be on Blu-ray Combo Pack, DVD and VOD on April 1. The Theatrical Version and the Unrated Version will also be available digitally on March 11.
