Watch All Six Episodes Of 'Agents Of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot' Web Series
Last week's "The Laws of Inferno Dynamics" was the midseason finale of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., meaning the show is officially done for 2016. But on its way out, it's left us with one final parting gift. As announced last week, ABC has launched Slingshot, a spinoff web series centered around Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez, played by Natalia Cordova-Buckley.
Each of the six episodes runs around three to six minutes long, and each one features characters from the main cast including Coulson (Clark Gregg), Quake (Chloe Bennet), and more. Essentially, then, they add up to one extra (albeit extra-short) episode of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. for the season. Now all of them are online, and you can watch them all below.
Agents of SHIELD Slingshot Web Series
Here's the synopsis for Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot:
Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.: Slingshot takes place shortly before the beginning of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Season 4. The digital series features Elena "Yo-Yo" Rodriguez, an Inhuman with the ability to move at super-speed. As a person with powers, she must sign the Sokovia Accords. However, the restrictions of the Accords are in direct conflict with a personal mission she's desperate to fulfill, one that will test her abilities and will include tense encounters with S.H.I.E.L.D. team members.
And here are all the episodes in order. Fun fact: the first episode of Slingshot marks the directorial debut of Joe Quesada, who is currently the chief creative officer of Marvel Entertainment.
The fourth season of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is broken up into three smaller plotlines. "The Laws of Inferno Dynamics" wrapped up the first eight-episode storyline, which revolved around Ghost Rider. The episode also set up the LMD arc, which is what we'll be picking up with when Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. returns for the rest of its fourth season on January 10, 2017. (If you're wondering why the midseason hiatus seems shorter than usual this year, it's because Agent Carter is no more. Yeah, I'm still bummed about it.)
