Already the most talked about film of 2007’s Sundance Film Festival involves Bestiality. Didn’t we get enough with last year’s Stay (later renamed Sleeping Dogs Lie)? Apparently not. The documentary from director Robinson Devor (Woman Chaser, Police Beat), is about a man who dies after having sex with a horse.
The poster to the left shows a man’s reflection in the eye of a horse. Creepy. The tagline reads “We Are Not Who We Appear To Be”.

why not? Porn in what ever form, is huge business and people will pay to see it. The real victim is the animals who have to have sex with beautiful women. The other victim is the female animals who will be jealous that the good male animals will not find them as attractive anymore. I wish I was a lawyer for the animals!!! A behind the scenes look at this will be interesting to say the least. Yes it is a bit sick, but I am sure not ALL of the women are forced into it.

Personally I am sorry to hear that a death occurred. But being an animal rights freak, I can’t imagine and not even sure I want to know, but if this guy is doing something he ought not to be doing then he of course takes the most responsibilty in his demise, obviously no disputes there, same as sky divers, or any other potentially dangerous self imposed scenario. Personally, I hope either the horse fck’d the sh-t out of this guy…,(I don’t know who was where) if not then stomped his ass into the ground for violating it. All Hands/or other appendages (male or female) should stay off the innocent…Kids, elderly, critters, defenseless beings.

Beth, when you ask for “intelligent conversation” do you mean intelligent comments such as “your stupid f*cking religion”? People bring a range of experience into play when these topics present themselves and religion is no less valid than any other. Other people may have a background from which they say “you shouldn’t judge other people’s art” — would you make your same comment to them? If you don’t agree with how much certain people elevate their religion, then simply treat it as any other building block from which people make decisions.
Do certain people engage in “bible thumping”? Yes, some people talk about it too much and put people down who don’t agree with them. However, there are just as many people on the “other side” that do the same thing. Doesn’t seem to be much middle ground anymore…
All that being said… I don’t think I would have guessed that I’d be posting on a thread about a movie in which a man dies having sex with a horse! You don’t *have* to make a movie about something just ’cause some people do it.

Dude! Of all the sick things that people have made movies about, this takes the cake. These are just the sign of the times we are living in. Let me state a simple, plain fact: Jesus says that in the last days we will be hated of all nations, there will be wars and rumors of wars, the earth will be in much turmoil and and that as it was in the days of sodom, so it will be in the last days. I do not believe in “Bible Thumping” I do believe that it is our responsibility to let people know that this world is not going to last forever and they need to think where they will be spending eternity. That could be part of the problem, Jack- While it’s true if it offends you, don’t see it (or go there, or read it, etc.), but if we all turn our backs and don’t stand up for what we believe is wrong and against our moral grain, then think about all of the other people out there who may be searching for truth about right and wrong, good and bad, moral and immoral. If we who are offended by this kind of filth just turn our backs and are content that we won’t have any part in it, that’s the same as tolerating it, and many people will be lost and sucked into it because we didn’t care enough to say or do anything about it. It’s much easier just to turn our backs and take care of ourselves. . . but that’s not why we’re really here, is it?

Yes Thomas, you are right, there is much hypocrisy in the church today. Please don’t lump us all in with that group. I don’t attend church just because what you are talking about. Some of us are different for the fact that we love only One, and that is Jesus. I feel horrible that these so called “Christians” that you mentioned have put a black mark on His name. It makes me very angry. You are right, most churches don’t even know what is right these days, they are just “going with the flow” and taking middle of the road stands on immorality. I know that things like what you are talking about discourage people so much and make people wonder if there is anything REAL out there. Just remember people that do things like that are not God’s true people. They are wolves in sheeps clothing. Don’t ever look to people, they will always dissapoint you. I have had to learn that myself. I only look to God and try to do what He wants me to.

Disgusting! I am sick of them using garbage and trolling in past viewers rendering it as art. I can’t believe the animal community is not up in arms. Enough is enough. Robert Redford should evaluate this so called FILM FESTIVAL. I am sad about this and the Dakota Fanning movie. I rarely see films anymore because they are mostly crap. We need more directors and writers out there who can tell a good story, rather than this sort of trash. I hope the horse kicked the crap out of them.

I think that this is another sign that Hollywood is dying: when the most creative idea you can think of for a movie is a man having intercourse with an animal. I was cast in the role of “Cop #1″ for this DOCUMENTARY and I AM, in fact, a Christian. And, YES, I am quite aware of the aforementioned passages from Leviticus.
This movie doesn’t condone the actions of the zoo community, nor does it glamorize it. It simply DOCUMENTS the events that transpired while utilizing artistic cinematic imagery. Perhaps some of you need to revisit John chapter 8…you know, the chapter about CASTING STONES.
Oh, and Hollywood has NOTHING to do with this movie. Hollywood didn’t bankroll this project and all of the shooting and editing was done in Washington State. Please, if you don’t know what you’re talking about then perhaps you should revisit James….you know…the part about being quick to listen and SLOW TO SPEAK.

I think Christians are brained washed people and hypocrites to boot! I used to be Christian until over a period of 4 years actually searched for the truth. I read the Bible and to put it mildly I was disgusted at what I read…then I read about other religions…I found out that there were other religions way before Christianity…it would take too long to go into, but Christianity was basically a knock off (with some differences) of Buddhism. Buddha lived 500 yrs BEFORE Christ and unlike FEAR and punishment that the Bible was preaching, Buddha taught forgiveness and love…Buddhism was gaining followers by the thousands and basically the people who taught about GOD and the bible came up with Christ and FORGIVENESS to win people back..if you look at the similarities between Buddha and Jesus it’s really amazing…Buddha spent 40 days and 40 nights in the wilderness…and WOW so did Jesus, Buddha had 12 disciple (like) followers as his helpers…and so did Jesus.. Like I said Buddha lived 500 years BEFORE Christ, so isn’t it weird how Christ copied so much..Buddha was just a man…Christ claimed to be GOD himself…I’m sorry, but reading the bible has made me see how WHACKED anyone who believes in that crap is…the mind games that GOD supposedly played on people…turning them to stone if they simply looked back…what a bunch of CRAP! Churches today (CHRISTIAN) are filled with hypocrites who are just as evil as anyone else..they think they are right and they HIDE who they really are because of some book that was written to scare people into doing what “higher ups” wanted them to do…it’s pathetic that people actually still believe this fiction! Personally, I believe that the anus was not intended to be poked. I think God created that part of the body strickly for us to withdraw waste. I’m very sorry that I even looked at the actual video over the internet, it was perverse and I feel the same having watching it. I recommend to all not to feel compelled to watch this video, it is really very disturbing.
